Your Stars Today

Aries | March 20 – April 18

As much as you enjoy the good life, you’ve been conscious that certain practical obligations have been neglected. While you can’t ignore these, you’re probably better off tackling them after the 5th, when your ruler Mars moves into painstaking Virgo, the sign that’s all about matters of this nature.

Taurus | April 19 – May 19

It would be easy to blame the retrograde Mercury for the bizarre range of dilemmas you’ve been facing. While this cycle can be as frustrating as it is confusing, many of the issues you’ve encountered have more to do with timely, if not overdue, dilemmas involving family or domestic matters.

Gemini | May 20 – June 20

Because you’ve a knack for seeing things from all sorts of angles, you rarely get stuck with the kind of fixed opinions or rigid thinking that troubles others. Yet recent events have revealed one or two situations where you’re surprisingly unwilling even to discuss new ideas or changes, and still less, make them.

Cancer | June 21 – July 21

Don’t be anxious about going back over what might be termed ‘old ground’. By that is meant, not only would it be wise to revisit previous tricky issues, the discussions that take place over the coming days could reveal crucial facts, that is information so important  it would change everything.

Leo | July 22 – August 21

Obviously, life is a lot easier if you can discuss a plan, project or even challenge, line up the facts, then make a single decision. But over the past weeks things haven’t been that straightforward. Ironically, the resulting discussions have been amazingly informative, and brought you closer to those who matter most.

Virgo | August 22 – September 21

It’s true that, often, a lively exchange of ideas, if not an out and out argument, will do wonders to clear the air. However, with your ruler Mercury retrograde and in the most sensitive angle of your chart, misunderstandings are likely. Ideally, you’ll avoid those clashes or, at least, say the minimum.

Libra | September 22 – October 22

The tense situations currently facing you are best dealt with by doing and saying the minimum. That may seem unwise if not uncaring. However, certain individuals aren’t really touched by these matters, so are unlikely to lend a hand. Knowing that, expect the minimum. That way, any efforts on their part will be a relief.

Scorpio | October 23 – November 21

In one especially crucial discussion, you tried to balance revealing what others needed to know with keeping facts you regard as strictly private to yourself. Yet, despite that, you’ve been misunderstood. Rethink this, considering whether revealing more would have clarified facts for others and made your life a lot easier.

Sagittarius | November 22 – December 20

As much as you enjoy the process of venturing into unfamiliar territory and the experience of learning about new ideas, you’re getting bored and want to get things going. That will happen, but probably not until the 5th, when dynamic Mars moves into the part of your chart that’s all about taking action.

Capricorn | December 21 – January 18

Don’t be shy about questioning others about their views, plans or intentions. This includes those who’ve been involved, possibly on a day to day basis. Every once in a while, a review of this nature is wise. But with things moving so swiftly, and often in an unexpected direction, these discussions are vital.

Aquarius | January 19 – February 17

Although Mercury’s retrograde cycle ends on this Monday the 5th, there’s bound to be a certain amount of fallout. While this is always the case, because you’re dealing with the shakeups triggered by August’s two eclipses, there’s still a lot to think about and deal with, and that could take weeks.

Pisces | February 18 – March 19

Your capacity to tolerate, and often forgive, the bad behaviour of others is both a blessing and a problem. At the moment it’s the latter, mostly because you’re trying to find a way to tell off the individual in question, but without upsetting them. That simply isn’t possible. Be tough. It’s your only option.
