
Sections of Anti-Terrorism Act and Anti-Narcotics Act have also been included in the FIR. Complainant in the FIR, ASI Abdul Kareem Dahiri alleged that the nominated persons attacked the police while resisting a raid for the arrest of a suspected female drug peddler, Sahibdini Maachi. According to the complainant, the villagers not only prevented the arrest of Sahibdini but also snatched an AK-47 rifle from the police.
The clash left the ASI injured who was allegedly beaten with wooden sticks and bricks. After the incident, SSP Syed Imdad Ali Shah conducted another raid at the village and recovered the weapon. However, the suspects involved in assaulting the police, including Sahibdini, had escaped.

Mother of Sahibdini, 70-year-old Begum Maachi, died during the raid. The police was blamed for her death by her family members and a former councillor, Hussain Bux Maachi, who shifted the deceased to a hospital.
Talking to the media, SSP Shah said the police will arrest all the nominated suspects. He also denied the accusation that the police were responsible for the death of the elderly woman.
