‘Health remains a top priority’   

Punjab government wanted to work with the government of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa to curb dengue, said provincial minister

Provincial Minister for Human Rights and Minority Affairs Khalil Tahir Sandhu has said that the provision of basic health facilities to the common man was a top priority of the Punjab government.

'Govt committed to providing high-quality healthcare' 

He expressed these views in a meeting with Minorities MPA Kanji Ram and Parliamentary Secretary Tariq Masih Gill on Monday. He said that the Punjab government wanted to work with the government of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa to curb dengue, which was a good step.


He added that the Punjab government played a proactive role in the eradication of dengue in Punjab. He said eight ambulances of Punjab Emergency Service(Rescue 1122), along with necessary medical equipment and medicines, had been sent to Peshawar.

Irregularities, mismanagement irk health minister 

The minister said that teams of health department in Punjab were also present in Peshawar on the directions of Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif.
