MQM-Pakistan convener addresses APMSO at KU
The APML student wing claims to have gathered over 150 members, including both male and female students, within a short span of time. However, this strength also comprises some known faces that were previously associated with the APMSO.
"The youth are fully convinced with the vision of Musharraf and are joining the APML voluntarily," said Waleed Malik, the general secretary of the APML's student wing. "They are well aware of the services that [Musharraf] gave for this country," he added.

Malik differed with the notion that the APML was trying to capitalise on those students activists that felt abandoned or ditched in the MQM's post-August-22 saga. "Over 90% of the activists with us were previously neutral," he claimed.
According to him, his party chief was focusing on the youth because youngsters are the future leaders. "This is the first time that we have formally entered the student politics arena in KU and soon we will show our presence in other educational institutions," he added.
