PM Abbasi was chairing a high-level meeting at his office in Islamabad where the Minister for National Health Services Saira Afzal Tarar and Chairperson National Polio Eradication Program Ayesha Raza Farooq briefed the prime minister on the progress regarding polio eradication.
After the briefing, the premier expressed his satisfaction over the progress made by the concerned authorities in significantly restricting the polio virus from spreading.
“Polio eradication requires a concerted effort from provincial governments, law enforcing agencies, district administration, civil society and international donors,” PM Abbasi said.
