Express Education and Career Expo concludes

Thousands of students participated in the event and took part in different activities

LAHORE: The Express Education and Career Expo 2017 concluded on a high note of Thursday with hundreds of students taking part in a score of competitions on the last day.

The expo ended at a local hotel with thousands of visitors coming to the event throughout the day. The second and last day of the expo saw students participating in different competitions including documentary, singing and fashion show competitions between different public and private universities.

The expo also attracted a huge crowd interest in different stalls of universities, colleges and consultants offering educational services. The expo included more than 50 national and international universities, schools, colleges, consultants and other organisations, who showcased their organisations and services as well as bookstalls with books on an array of subjects.

Muneeza, a visitor to the expo, said she came to see the different competitions and also find information about universities offering management sciences degrees.

“My friend is participating in singing competition and I came here to cheer up for her,” she said.

Over 15000 people throng to Express Education and Career Expo 2017

The expo came to Lahore after successfully holding events in Islamabad on May 10 and 11, in Karachi on May 20 to 21, in Faisalabad on July 4 and 5 and in Peshawar on July 18 and 19.

On the first day, thousands of students took part in the expo and took interest in higher education opportunities and spoke to representatives of various universities. The first day saw various competitions, including declamation, dramatics, painting, photography and dance competitions. While the expo hosted documentary, singing and fashion show on the final day.
