Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Thursday downplayed Nawaz Sharif's 'homegoing' rally against his disqualification, criticising the PML-N leader for using a bulletproof car to address supporters.
Earlier in the day, the former PM spoke to a large number of supporters in Jhelum, terming his dismissal by the judges an insult to the entire nation.
"Speaking from a bulletproof car doesn't inspire confidence in already-dwindling crowds," the PTI chief said on Twitter.

"If you fear death you should not undertake "people's" rallies," he added.
According to Imran, "Patwaris & rent-a-crowd methods do not make one into a leader of the people."

Imran sees elections by year-end, asks supporters to start preparations
He went on to add "Nawaz Sharif's Corruption Bachao rally reduced to corner meetings," saying, "manufactured by a military dictator, Nawaz Sharif cannot understand dynamics of populist politics."
The PTI chief warned his arch-rival that the "game was over" for him, advising him to accept the 'facts'.
"My advice to Nawaz Sharif on his Corruption Bachao rally: You can blame the umpires, the pitch, the weather, some of your players," he said. "But in the end you can't avoid the sinking feeling that the game is over & you have lost."
Nawaz was disqualified by the Supreme Court over undeclared assets in a landmark judgment by the top court last month. According to the PML-N leader, the masses have not accepted the apex court's verdict.
