Trailer of Jennifer Lawrence's 'Mother!' will ruin your sleep tonight
Watch the trailer here and get the chills...
If you've seen Black Swan, you know Darren Aronofsky! The director wandered off into biblical epic territory with 2014's Noah, but he now appears to be back in psychological thriller territory with his latest movie, Mother!
The two minute trailer reveals much about the plot, as trailer opens with Jen making plans to create a "paradise" with her onscreen lover, played by Javier Hardem, but it's not long before bliss turns to chaos.
Marvel brings hammerless Thor as Hulk learns to talk in new trailer
She asks her man why he's so okay letting a complete stranger into their house when an older man (Ed Harris) turns up at the door, and when another woman (Michelle Pfeiffer) is also welcomed, things get messy - think blood, howls and desperate panting.
The teaser does give the impression of a story with a fair bit of horror laced through it. Mother! certainly looks closer to the kind of work he was producing in the Oscar-winning Black Swan or Requiem Of A Dream , which honestly are our favourites.
