Second power plant complete: Reports

Pakistan has completed the construction of a second nuclear power plant.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has completed the construction of a second nuclear power plant at Chashma with China’s help and the plant has started producing 300 megawatts on a trial basis.

According to media reports, the project was completed in just five years, much ahead of schedule. A TV channel quoted Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission officials as saying that work on the third and fourth units has also commenced.
