UET Vice Chancellor Dr Fazal Ahmad Khalid was chief guest on the occasion. The purpose of the open house was to provide an opportunity to students to showcase their acquired skills and knowledge.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Khalid said the linkage between the academia and industry can bring prosperity to the country on a larger scale and the real objective of research and development can only be accomplished with proper collaboration of industrial organisation and universities.
He added industrial growth ensured economic uplift in the country. Different students’ projects were exhibited at the event. Some officials from various industries, national and multinational companies attended the event. They appreciated the university administration for organising the event.
