Local landlords killed a youth after accusing him of theft eight years ago and his family are still looking to register the case.
The deceased boy’s uncle Allah Wasaya said that he had been trying to register the murder for eight years but police officials had refused to do so and he had recently begun receiving death threats for pursuing the case.
Moza Kunder resident Allah Wasaya said that his orphaned nephew Gul Hasan was killed by Mushtaq Ahmed, Abdul Wahid, Muhammad Aslam and Noor Ahmed eight years ago. “One of the men is in jail but the rest are roaming free and they have threatened my life,” he said.
Allah Wasaya said Gul Hasan was killed after the landlords accused him of stealing a motor.
Wasaya said that he had sold his house and his property to pay legal fees for the case but no one had taken any notice. He has appealed to the chief justice and chief minister to take notice of the case.
