New Town: Man posing as security agency officer arrested

Police say they received many complaints against the suspect.

The New Town police on Saturday arrested a man on charges of pretending to be a security agency officer and blackmailing many innocent people for their contacts with terrorists and Taliban.

Police said they had received many complaints against the suspect, Imran Rasheed. He called people using different numbers, police said. Rasheed was traced through his phone. The police registered a fraud case against Rasheed.
