QUETTA: Lawyers in Quetta continued their hunger strike for the third consecutive day on Saturday to protest against the non-recovery of two kidnapped lawyers Munir Ahmed Mirwani and Agha Zahir Shah.

Mirwani was abducted a year ago from Khuzdar district while Agha Zahir Sha, who was assisting the High Court over the cases of Baloch missing persons, was whisked away from Quetta two months ago.

Lawyers staged a demonstration in front of the Quetta Press Club. Vowing to continue the protest until their colleagues’ safe recovery, lawyers criticised the government for making no effort to find the missing lawyers.
