DC instructed to compile list of polling staff

Chief secretary was asked to provide list of officials who would perform duties in 2018 general elections

BAHAWALPUR: The provincial election commissioner has asked the Punjab government to provide list of officials of Bahawalpur to be assigned duties as returning officers and polling staff in general elections to be held in 2018.



Official sources said the election commissioner office dispatched a letter to chief secretary, asking him to provide list of officials of Bahawalpur, who would perform duties in 2018 general elections."

They said the letter was written as part of preparations for conducting
the general elections in 2018.
