These officers were found involved in embezzlement and misuse of funds. Most of the officers who have been given notices belong to Kandiaro, Shaheed Benazirabad, Kamber-Shahdadkot, Jacobabad, Kashmore, Sanghar and Kandhkot districts.
According to the minister, those employees who have retired from government service on superannuation but were found guilty of corruption are also being taken to task. Strict action against such officers is being initiated in consultation with the services, general administration and coordination department's regulation wing.
No corrupt officers or officials will be spared and all will be taken to task, the minister said. According to him, as many as six principals, 48 headmasters, three district education officers, six assistant district education officers and many other officers of grade-17 were found guilty when departmental inquiry was conducted.
