The New Town police on Saturday arrested an employee of the Holy Family Hospital who was involved in selling medicines of the hospital to private vendors.
Police officials on Saturday raided the hospital and arrested Zahid Khan, a pharmacy technician, and recovered stolen medicines and medical apparatus from his possession.

The recovered medicines, officials said, were to be used for use in the hospital and cannot be sold in the open market.
The HFH employee alleged that HFH Emergency Ward Supervisor Farooq, pharmacy shift in-charge Sheikh Afsar, along with Pharmacy staffers Wajid and Qurban, had been helping him steal the medicines.
