Police detain 7 lawbreakers in capital

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad police arrested seven lawbreakers from various parts of the city, recovering weapons and narcotics from their possession, a police spokesperson said on Monday. The Bhara Kau police arrested Habib for carrying two pistols and ammunition. Moreover, Jawad was arrested by a separate squad from the station for carrying a 30 bore pistol, a 12-bore shotgun and 155 grammes of hashish. The Bani Gala police, meanwhile, arrested Babar Khan for carrying 25 bottles of liquor. Shehzad town police nabbed Aamir Shehzad for carrying 50 grammes of heroin. The Crime Investigation Agency of Islamabad police arrested Temur Gul for carrying a 30 bore pistol. The Koral police arrested Umer Khan for possession of a 30 bore pistol, while a squad of the Sihala police apprehended Asif for carrying a 30 bore pistol. These suspects have been booked by the respective police stations and further investigations are underway.
