Unidentified suspects entered their house, tied them to charpoys and repeatedly beat them

A couple was found beaten to death at their house in the Shadbagh police jurisdiction on Monday.
The victims, Shareef, 60, and his wife Shahnaz, 59, tied the knot a decade ago and had taken up residence in the mentioned area. On Monday, unidentified suspects entered their house, tied them to charpoys and repeatedly bashed them with bricks and clubs.

When the neighbours learned about the incident, they informed the police. The police teams, headed by SP City Adil Memon and SP City Investigations Karar Hussain, reached the spot and collected evidence from the scene of the crime. They also recorded statements of witnesses.
SP Karar told the media that the case was being investigating from various angles. He confirmed police collected evidence from the crime scene and jotted down numbers saved in the victims’ cell phones.

During initial investigation, they found some leads and were working on identifying the suspects. “Hopefully, we will be able to arrest the culprits soon.”
