Missing Persons: Hindu mother seeks son’s return

QUETTA: Mother of a missing Hindu labourer has appealed to the government to help recover her missing son.

Addressing a news conference at the Quetta Press Club, the woman said the Hindu community of Balochistan had been living peacefully for centuries and her son Jawar Lal had no affiliation with any political party. She said her son was a patriotic Pakistani.

She informed reporters that he was abducted from Naal Bazaar, Khuzdar district on April 4, 2009 by a group of armed men.

She added that the incident had destroyed her family, as five members died due to the shock triggered by the incident.
