LAHORE: The Punjab government announced financial assistance of Rs800,000 for the heirs of those died in the incident of a falling chair lift in Murree.
'Work on chairlift project to begin next year'

Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the provincial government equally shares the sorrow of the aggrieved families.

It is worth mentioning that the incident of the falling chair lift occurred within the limits of Lora Police Station in Haveliyan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. Those who died in the incident belonged to Rawalpindi or Islamabad.
