FESCO to expand seven grid stations
Funds provided by ADB to be used for project.
FAISALABAD:
Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has decided to expand seven grid stations with financial assistance of Asian Development Bank (ADB) by June 30, according to FESCO Chief Executive Officer Tariq Mehmood Chattah.
Chattah said FESCO was using Rs2,318 million allocated by ADB for improvement of FESCO grid and distribution systems. He said work was in progress for expansion of seven grid stations, while protection switches and capacitors were being installed at grid stations.
Chief Engineer Development Sheikh Muhammad Ashraf said expansion work at grid stations, will be completed by June 30. After completion, upgrade and expansion a further 20 grid stations will begin.
