One Piece, Three Ways: Umaima Mustafa

While trends fade, style remains eternal and one piece can be put together in many different ways. In this feature we have three fashionistas showing us how to put together an item from a designer’s collection, according to their own individual style and taste!

This glamorous jacket with an embellished bodice and fringe detailing is by Umaima Mustafa. The bodice of the jacket has a floral pattern adorned on organza and velvet along with pearl work that makes it elegant. With impeccable attention to detail, this jacket is a standalone piece that can be styled with minimum accessories to create an effortlessly chic look!

Umaima Mustafa outfits always exude individuality, I chose to play with that concept by styling a standard evening jacket for a look suitable during the day. I added classic black Christian Louboutin peep toes, a Bottega clutch and subtle Versace studs for a little glam factor . The ripped skinnies and subtle make-up brought the look together.

This Umaima Mustafa jacket I wore has a high glamour quotient, it’s the kind of outfit you save for those special nights out! The fringe adds the right dose of flair while keeping it classy! I styled it with a pair of black heels and picked my go-to Chanel clutch! Smokey eyes add the right amount of oomph! I wanted to keep it sophisticated and chic and let the outfit do all the talking!

This Umaima jacket is beautiful and I absolutely love the silhouette as it really elongates your posture. I paired it with ripped skinny jeans, a fitted crop top  and my strappy YSL tributes. My Allureby MHT pearl earrings were added to break all the black. I kept the rest of my make-up to a bare minimum as I wanted  to keep matte red lips. I think this jacket would be perfect to take to a destination wedding.
