Bears maul KSE

Express May 19, 2010

KARACHI: Bearish trends were witnessed at the Karachi Stock Market on Wednesday as the four key indices recorded losses.

The KSE-100 Index closed 50 points under par at 10,032, while the All-Share Index shed 40 points.

Total exchange volume was 123 million.

While the Euro Debt Crisis is scaring away foreign investment, the lack of liquidity and speculation has also drowned the domestic trading in stocks.

Analysts believe the previously 'immune' Asian economies might be at risk this time, from the debt crisis.
