New ChenOne store opens its doors at Lucky One
Expansion of local stores portrays positive image of Pakistan, says alBaraka COO

Amid colourful celebrations, a new ChenOne store was inaugurated on Saturday at Lucky One Mall on Rashid Minhas Road. The store was filled with customers when alBaraka Bank Chief Operating Officer Ahmed Shuja Kidwai performed the inauguration.
After cutting the ribbon, Kidwai congratulated the chief executive officer of ChenOne, Mian Muhammad Kashif Ashfaq, and said expansion of businesses like ChenOne is not only good for the business itself but it also portrays a positive image of the country. Expansion of business groups is a good omen that the country is going forward, Kidwai said. He wished the store's management good luck and said they had come a long way since the store's inception in 1997.
The ChenOne CEO also spoke on the occasion. He thanked God for the brand's success and thanked all those present at the event for attending the inauguration ceremony. Sharing the work philosophy and vision of ChenOne, the CEO said the narrow pursuit of profit proliferation was not how ChenOne achieved its enormous success, instead, it was the perseverance for brilliance and hard work along with maximum optimisation of time that brought enduring success to the brand.

Ashfaq said ChenOne has sustained its brand image for 19 years. It was not an easy path, as the brand had to make difficult choices and identify opportunities for growth amid uncertainty, he told participants of the event. It was about being judicious, determined as well as insightful in order to gain inspiration while warding off intimidation along the way, the CEO shared.
On the occasion, visitors at the store, who were mostly women, said ChenOne is a complete store where one can buy all kinds of items whether it is clothing for women, men or children or households items, including furniture.
Uzma Zahid, a customer who had arrived at the store before the inauguration, shared that she did not know about the opening, however, when she saw its display board, she came directly into the store without stopping at any other place in the mall. She expressed satisfaction over the opening of ChenOne at Lucky One Mall as before she had to travel rather far to reach a ChenOne outlet.
Another customer, Mubeen Ahmed, said a store like ChenOne is a great facility, since it offers a variety of clothes and household items that are not available in nearby areas.
