The Sindh government has announced that repair work of Sukkur’s Bandar wall will begin from April 10.

The Sindh government has announced that repair work of Sukkur’s Bandar wall will begin from April 10. The Bandar wall near Qureshi Goth, Gol Bund and Rohri will be repaired at a cost of Rs120 million. Sukkur Barrage right bank chief engineer Agha Aijaz said the work will be supervised by the bund protection team and the irrigation department. Repairs will not be done on illegally occupied land. According to Aijaz, three miles of the wall in Sukkur and 1.25 miles at Rohri are illegally occupied.
