Anil Kapoor's birthday wish for daughter Sonam will give you all the feels

He called Sonam his "princess" and recalled the first time he held her in his hands

Of course, Bollywood beauty Sonam Kapoor has always been the apple of her father Anil Kapoor's eye. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that the latter made an adorable gesture to wish his daughter a very happy 32nd birthday on Friday, reported Bollywood.com. 

Anil took to Instagram, sharing a beautiful photo of Sonam alongside a heartfelt message. He called the Neerja actor his "princess" and recalled the first time he held little Sonam in his hands.



“You can never forget that moment when you hold your child in your arms for the first time. For me, today is a celebration of that memory and of the person who gave me the gift of fatherhood for the very first time," Anil wrote. "Happy Birthday @sonamkapoor! Keep smiling, shine brighter, be happier! You are my very own warrior princess and I believe in you just as fiercely as you stand by your beliefs. Love you beta!”

Even last year, Anil wished Sonam with a beautiful message on Instagram. Sharing an old photo from an earlier birthday party of hers, the actor wrote about how he got late for the celebration and so, his wife Sunita got very upset. But to make up for his absence, he carried Sonam in his arms all night.

Anil and Sunita are proud parents of three very talented children: Sonam, Rhea and Harshvardhan. While Sonam and Harshvardhan have followed their father’s footstep in Bollywood, Rhea is a celebrated stylist and producer.
