PCS Officers: CJ wonders if protesters deserve relief
LHC CJ seeks cancellation of case against PCS.
LAHORE:
The Lahore High Court Chief Justice Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry while hearing the petition filed by the Punjab Civil Secretariat (PCS) officers to seek cancellation of the case against them, regretted that people of every class had made it a routine to take the law into their own hands and hold protests to have their demands fulfilled.
The chief justice said that those who take the law into their hands perhaps do not deserve relief from the courts. The court put off further hearing of the petition till April 22.
