Rs3 million valuables taken away

KHANEWAL: Valuables worth Rs3 million were taken away from a cigeratte and pan shop at Sanglanwala Chowk.

Owner Khursheed Anwar said the robbers were armed and they took away packs of imported cigarettes, foreign currency, calling cards and other goods. He said they locked him inside the shop before escaping the scene. Nearby traders and DSP Sadar Shehzad Manzoor reached the spot and unlocked him.
