Road accident leaves four dead in Kech

Four others were injured in the incident

QUETTA: Four people were killed and four others were injured when a vehicle turned upside down at Zubaida Jalal Road of Kech district on Wednesday.

According to Levies officials, the vehicle, carrying eight people, met with the tragic accident when it reached near Nadidar area between Turbat and Mand. The driver lost control of the vehicle and it turned upside down, resulting in the death of four people on the spot, while four others were injured.

“The incident took place due to over-speeding,” Levies official said.

Security forces rushed to the site and shifted the deceased and injured to District Hospital Turbat. The bodies of all the four victims were later dispatched to their native towns in Sindh.

The four people who were killed in the incident were identified as Saddam Hussain 27, (Shahdad Kot), Shaman 18, (Larkana), Zaheer Khan 15, (Larkana) and Muhammad Mukhtar 25, (Kot Lashari- Ghari Yasin).
