LHC reserves judgment on press secretary
On January 31st, the Punjab government had placed Hafiz Saeed and four party leaders under house arrest after the federal interior ministry issued a letter to this effect.
According to the letter issued to the provincial government on January 29, as per the UN Security Council sanctions, two organisations named JuD and Falah-e-Insaniat Foundation (FIF) — the public welfare arm of the JuD — were both put on a watch list.
