Parks in shambles in Sector G-7 Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Parks are supposed to provide clean and healthy environment to people. However, these recreational spots have started to look like garbage dumps in Sector G-7. The residents of Sector  G-7 have demanded the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to take notice of the unhygienic condition of the parks. A resident of Sector G-7, Kashif Ahmed, said parks in this sector reflect the negligence and poor performance of the civic body. Due to these unhygienic condition visitors avoid to go there. Residents have demanded that the CDA management make better and satisfactory arrangements for sanitation in their localities. When contacted CDA Director  Parks said staff cleans the area on a daily basis, if people have any complaints relating to this matter they can register their problems at their nearest offices.
