Pakistan more prosperous under Nawaz, says Shehbaz

Punjab CM says PML-N’s politics revolved around selfless service to the people

LAHORE: Contemporary Pakistan is far more prosperous, developed and safe than any time in the past and every sector has improved considerably over the past four years under Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said on Sunday.

He was speaking with Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb during a meeting here.

According to him, PML-N’s politics revolved around selfless service to the people.

Elements, he said, resorting to politics of allegations and lies had been exposed. He said the people of Pakistan had rejected those doing the politics of allegations at every turn.

In 2018, he said, parties subscribing to politics of service, honesty and hard work would succeed.

Vowing to continue on the path of progress and prosperity under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, he said: “The people will cast their votes on the basis of performance in the next general elections.”

Minister of State on Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb appreciated the Punjab Chief Minister for taking unprecedented steps for the progress and prosperity of the people of Punjab.

She said that his vision and hard work was also being admired the world over.

Punjab, she said, had made rapid progress under the dynamic leadership of the Punjab chief minister.

She also congratulated the Chief Minister on his successful visit to China.
