ISLAMABAD: The Criminal Investigation Agency (CIA) of Islamabad police has arrested two persons for looting shops after cutting their locks, a police spokesman said.

The duo used cutting tools to break into shops in the upscale Blue Area market.

The suspects, Alamgir and Iftikhar, also confessed to stealing expensive clothes including bridal dresses worth hundreds and thousands of rupees from shops in Sitara Market.

Moreover, during initial interrogation, the duo said they had stolen a generator from Hasan Cloth Mart in Sector G-7 for their personal use due to load shedding.

He constituted special team under supervision of DSP CIA Bashir Ahmed Noon which included Sub-Inspector Muhammad Azam, Constables Zulfiqar Ali and Nur Nabi.
