QUETTA: The Balochistan High Court (BHC) chief justice and vice-chancellor (VC) of Turbat University, during a meeting on Friday, decided to initiate a law programme in the varsity.

The BHC Chief Justice Mir Muhammad Noor Meskanzai also assured the varsity’s VC Prof Dr Abdul Razzaq Sabir that he would provide all kinds of assistance and facilities to initiate the programme.

The chief justice, who visited the university along with other BHC judges, was briefed about the development of Turbat University by the VC. He said that his institution has earned a respectable place in higher education in a short span of four years.

He said “Our graduates are second to none and can compete with the students of other universities”.

Registrar UoT Dr Haneef Rehman and Director Institute of Balochi Language and Culture Dr Abdul Saboor Baloch were also present during the meeting.

The chief justice also visited the sub campus of Turbat University in Gwadar. Talking to students at the Gwadar Campus, he urged them to continue working hard.
