
According to an official of the Capital Administration and Development Division (CAAD), a feasibility report for the projects had been prepared and the said amount is expected to be released soon in order to improve healthcare facilities at Pims.
He said that the money would also be utilised to upgrade the burns centre of the hospital apart from adding a host of facilities to the centre.
The CADD official said that different wards of the hospital would be uplifted, while the functioning of liver transplant unit would be upgraded along with OPD.
Asked about unfilled posts at the hospital, he said that 49 vacant posts of consultants and physicians at Pims pertain to the direct appointment quota.
