When contacted, UMT PRO Shabir Ahmed said the varsity management has conducted an in-depth research on the matter by finding out the original source or mastermind of the fake degree racket.

Meanwhile, officials of the BISE Lahore said there was no SO employed by the name of Abdul Jabbar at the board. BISE Controller Nasir Jamil said no one had lodged a complaint or contacted BISE Lahore over the issue of fake documents. He said the BISE has many SOs employed and their duty was to only check tabulation mistakes. They did not have access to anything else.
