HYDERABAD: A worker of a nationalist party was killed by unidentified assailants in Nawabshah district on Saturday. The body of a 33-year-old worker of Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party, Ameen Magsi, was found on Mehran Highway near an oil mill within the limits of Balu Ja Quba police station.
According to the police, the killers stabbed the deceased in the chest multiple times with a sharp object before decapitating his head. The motive behind the murder is yet to be ascertained.
After the post-mortem, the body was handed over to the family for burial. The brother of the deceased, Huzoor Bux Magsi, told the local media that Ameen ran a shop where he sold dish antennas. He claimed that neither did his slain brother have enmity with anyone nor did the family have any clue regarding the cause of murder.
“The police should investigate the matter and the culprits should be brought to book,” Huzoor Bux demanded.
