Five journalists injured as ‘PSP workers’ attack Sukkur Press Club
Several party workers have been taken into custody, say police
At least five journalists including three cameramen were injured on Monday after men alleged to be Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) workers attacked Sukkur Press Club.
According to Express News, the miscreants attacked with sticks and pelted stones during a protest being held outside the press club building. Those injured include Nasir Jaffery, Shahnawaz Shar, Razaq Solangi, Naveed Khuhro, Sajjad Pasha and Riaz Rajput.
Several PSP workers including Rehan Siddiqui and Sabira Khatoon were detained after the incident, police sources said.
