G-B by-election: PPP invites applications for Nagar seat

ISLAMABAD: In an unusual move, the Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) has invited applications from aspiring party members for the upcoming by-elections in G-B.

In a statement issued by the PPPP Secretary General Senator Farhatullah Babar in Islamabad on Tuesday, he invited applications from party members wishing to contest the upcoming by-elections on the party’s ticket.

Aspirants have been asked to send their applications to the PPPP president. Moreover, they have been asked to attach a demand draft worth Rs15,000 with their application by April 25.

The seat in the G-B Legislative Assembly (GBLA-4 Hunza-Nagar-I) from Nagar had fallen vacant after its incumbent, senior ITP leader Muhammad Ali Sheikh died of a cardiac arrest on February 26.
