LAHORE: Friday’s attack in Stockholm is truly deplorable and profoundly heart wrenching. Terrorists have no country or religion, said Swedish politician and rights activist Nasim Malik on Monday. “The attack against a peace-loving and tolerant nation is extremely shocking and egregious,” he said, adding such acts of terrorism could not deter the people from keeping aloft human values. “An open, tolerant and a democratic society is extremely important for all of us,” Nasim said. He said Sweden had been relatively free of violence until now. The last attempt of terror that took place near the same spot in Stockholm ended with a suicide bomber killing himself in 2010. Sweden welcomed the second highest number of refugees on humanitarian grounds.
