The prosecution told the court that accused Sulaiman, Saifullah and others had killed Shahnawaz over a dispute. However, the police arrested them and registered an FIR 13/139 against them.
The police produced the accused before the court where they were found guilty of the murder. After hearing witnesses and analysing the evidence, the court awarded life term to Sulaiman and seven-year jail term to Saifullah.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs100,000 on the accused that would be paid to the heirs of the victims.
However, the judge acquitted others due to lack of evidence.
