Tibbi City shooting: Police arrest four in triple murder case

The accused opened fire at them, killing Ayub, Shakoor and a passer-by on the spot

LAHORE: Police have arrested four suspects allegedly involved in the killing of three men in Tibbi City last week. Brothers Rana Ayub and Rana Shakoor along with seven other men were on their way to court when they were attacked by the suspects. The accused opened fire at them, killing Ayub, Shakoor and a passer-by on the spot.  A case under Section 7 of the anti-terrorism act, and 302, 324, 148, 149 of the Pakistan Penal Code was registered against suspects named Naeem, Nadeem, Aqeel, Waqas, Shan, Majid, Sajid and four other unidentified people on the complaint of Rana Farooq. “Prime suspect Naeem, Aqeel and their two accomplices have been arrested by investigation police from Narowal,” an investigator told The Express Tribune, adding the police were searching for other suspects.
