ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday adjourned the hearing of a case regarding promotions of senior bureaucrats until April 5. Justice Aamir Farooq of IHC heard the case filed by the officers who could not get promotions from the Central Selection Board (CSB). The counsel for the petitioner Barrister Masroor appeared before the court during the proceeding. An additional attorney general representing the state prayed the court to grant two weeks time to submit a detailed reply comprising the method of promotions and effect of overriding in the case. Justice Farooq remarked that it was a small memorandum that could be prepared within one hour.
