Soon after his announcement, Pakistan cricket legend Shahid Afridi took to Twitter to welcome the Brazilian World Cup winner's decision of coming to Pakistan.

National footballers ecstatic over Ronaldinho’s visit
"Happy by the words [of] Shahid Afridi BOOM BOOM cricket hero from Pakistan. I look forward to my visit to Pakistan in July," was the meaning of former Barca star's tweet.
Afridi again tweeted, hinting that he might want to rope Ronaldinho in for his charity work during his visit.

Without a club since leaving Fluminense in 2015, Ronaldinho has upped his charity and promotional activities in the last few years.
His visit to Pakistan, where he is expected to play an exhibition seven-a-side match, is being managed by UK-based Leisure Leagues.

Former Dutch midfielder George Boateng and ex-England goalkeeper David James are some of the other names rumoured to join Ronaldinho on his tour to Pakistan.
