Agitation: APCA threatens strike if demands not met
Secretary General says officials who will perform census duty will not participate in the protest.
BAHAWALPUR:
All Pakistan Clerks Association has presented charter of demands to the federal and provincial governments for the approval of their collective matters.
The association also announced to observe a complete strike and stage a peaceful demonstration throughout Punjab on March 16. While speaking to journalists on Monday, APCA Secretary General Fakharur Rehman said, “Our legal demands should be fulfilled without any delay.”
He added officials, who will perform census duty will not participate in the protest. He said, “The basic demands like 50% ad hoc relief, house rent on current salary, medical allowance, increase in salaries, upgradation of technical and non-technical staff is our Constitutional right.”
