Gunned down: Monetary dispute claims man’s life

Dispute happened in the limits of Batala Colony police station on Monday.

FAISALABAD: A man was shot dead over monetary dispute in the limits of Batala Colony police station on Monday. The police said Malik Tahir Zia, resident of People's Colony, had a monetary dispute with accused Shehzad and Shahid. In order to take revenge, the accused opened fire at Malik Tahir, killing him on the spot. Meanwhile, two people were killed in a road accident in the area of Balochni police station. A police official said two speedy motorcycles collided with each other near Adda Johal. As a result, motorcyclists Sultan and Raza Ali were killed while Azeem Nazeer suffered injuries.
