Triple H just owned this Pakistani groom’s wedding entry

And that too, in the most hilarious way

KARACHI: Surprising as it may seem, pro wrestling actually still has quite a niche audience in Pakistan – more so than the rest of the world.

Let’s face it: Pakistan has no comic-cons or anything similar dedicated solely to pro wrestling. Not to mention, dressing up as your favourite wrestler at a costume party might get a little awkward if no one recognises your character. But die-hard fans don’t let go of their obsessions easily. Even though this genre of sports-entertainment has its detractors, we often see glimpses of fans openly embracing it and showing their interests.

Goldberg becomes world champion for first time in 14 years

Fortunately or unfortunately, one Pakistani found the ideal way to proclaim his love for wrestling. He entered his own wedding just like Triple H entered the arena back in the day. Carrying a WWE world championship belt, Ahmer walked in amid pyrotechnics erupting to his left and right, just like at a real WWE ramp.

And what else would a die-hard fan need other than an endorsement by the very person he was giving tribute to. Even Triple H watched his entry video and shared it on Twitter with a hilarious post.

Ahmer’s attention to detail is commendable. The groom – decked in a sherwani, in all his groom glory – walked through a ‘ring’ made of yellow ribbons and even posed like Triple H at the ring apron. The crowd cheered at the sight of the groom, photographing the moments that would soon spark a frenzy over social media. Now that's one way for a groom to feel like a superstar!

Anyway, we’re hoping themed weddings become a thing soon so that there is more creativity put into the ceremonies.

Watch this video and it will make you want to get married yourself. Just try not to choke slam your guests...
