G-B governance: Projects launched in all districts

Barkat Jamil says elimination of corruption, restoration of the rule of merit, and development are main focus areas

ASTORE: The Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B) government has been working on different projects pertaining to development, good governance and elimination of corruption. Parliamentary Secretary for Health Barkat Jamil said this while talking to the media on Monday. Jamil said construction and repair of roads, bridges and highways has been started to provide best communication facilities to people. Elimination of corruption, restoration of the rule of merit, communication and development are the main focus areas of the G-B government, he said. Jamil said the development projects initiated today will go a long way in changing the living standards of the people of G-B by opening new vistas for business and generating employment opportunities for the local people.
