12 injured in scuffle between PML-N leaders in Faisalabad
A scuffle broke out between a provincial minister and local councilors over some ‘dealings’
FAISALABAD:
At least 12 people, including two children, received serious injuries when a group supported by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Jaffer Ali Khochiana opened fire at a group led by PML-N MNA Rajab Ali Baloch in Tandlianwala on Monday.
Initial reports revealed two of those injured are in critical condition and have been shifted to Tandlianwala Civil Hospital.

According to residents of the area, the two groups had a dispute over a housing colony in Tandlianwala. Following the incident, locals staged a demonstration during which they set tyres on fire at Faisalabad's Okara road, causing suspension of traffic.
Last year, at least one political worker was killed and 11 others sustained injuries in a clash between rival political parties in Azad Jammu and Kashmir’s (AJK) Kotli area on Saturday.

According to police reports, the clash occurred at the Government College Nayal ground, about 215km away from Muzaffarabad, where Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) workers were preparing for a rally scheduled to be held. Activists of the PML-N arrived at the venue and began pelting stones at the PPP workers, resulting in the death of Chaudhry Muhammad Munshi. All injured were shifted to the District Headquarter Hospital (DHQ) Kotli.
