ISLAMABAD:
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has suspended an inspector of the Enforcement directorate on charges of alleged misconduct and corruption.
According to a statement issued by the CDA on Sunday, the authority said it had received reports that a number of vendors had set up stalls near Mandi Morr along the IJP Road.
CDA Member Administration Yasir Peerzada directed action against inspector Zulfiqar Ahmed for alleged corruption in allowing the stalls to operate illegally.
After the move was approved by CDA chairman and Mayor Sheikh Anser Aziz, the Human Resources Development (HRD) directorate issued suspension orders for inspector Zulfiqar Ahmed.
Ahmed’s services have been suspended under Regulation 8.05 of the CDA Employees Service Regulation, 1992.
